And......

Numbers used for the GPBR series will be used for the Cross Crusade races so keep them, and bring them. But...... Do not use numbers you used for blind date, trophy cup, or your ROAD number! Yes, I have seen these used ..... with my own eyes.

Again.....
Number placement is very important for getting good results so if you're not sure how to do it correctly just ask and we will be glad to help. :)

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Cyclocross bib numbers

Friendly annual reminder:
Numbers for cyclocross are specific to the category you are racing. If you change category you must obtain a new number, period. Even if you are  a junior racer racing the Junior 3/4/5 category and move to Junior Elite you must get a new number. You can't wear your singlespeed number if you are racing category. Make sense?

You might think it's not a big deal, but it is! Officials spend wayyyyy too much extra time on posting accurate results. You expect accurate results, officials expect accurate results, so please do your part and follow the expectations put on you, the racers! Cyclocross is fun! Let's keep it fun for everyone.

Thanks,
Mel
PS. I didn't mention number placement because it's already been put out there but trust me, it's still a problem.
