2016 River City Bicycles Cyclocross Crusade Races #1 and #2

The 2016 River City Bicycles Cyclocross Crusade race series is about to begin!
There's a great history of cyclocross racing at Alpenrose. This year is our 19th year at the dairy!
Come on out and make a weekend of it. Here's some information to help you plan:

Alpenrose does NOT allow alcohol. Please be respectful.

The race course will be open for preview Friday between 3pm - 6pm.
Team tents will be allowed to set up at this time. Team tent sites are first come first serve.

Overnight camping will be allowed (in a designated area)

Race day schedule and categories are changed!
Please check your category start time.

The Black Knight returns! He will have a number of sweet prizes for racers.
Be sure to stop by the River City Bicycles tent aka the "Black Knight's Lair" at each race and enjoy the fun going on there!

Kid's 'Cross is back!
Look for the white Islabikes registration tent to get your little ones signed up.

Podium ceremonies for every race! We will be awarding the top three racers in each category every race day.
They will take place during the course preview times. Look for the River City Bicycles Podium.

Please respect the neighbors. This goes not only for the campers, but for everyone driving/parking/riding bikes in and around the neighborhood. Please, show extra courtesy to neighborhood traffic and make room for cars to pass (especially on SW Illinois St. and the truck entrance to the dairy).

Please respect our host. Alpenrose Dairy will be operating this weekend (they are making cheese and ice cream as we race!)
Do not warm up or ride bikes in their production area (the entrance by the intersection of SW Illinois & Shattuck).
There will be a designated bike wash area - please do not use any other Alpenrose water spigots for washing bikes.

Parking attendants will be working the weekend. Please obey their directions. Parking will be tight; carpooling or riding bikes to the venue is highly encouraged.
NO parking in truck zones!

We have a fantastic line-up of food vendors: Tastebud Pizza, 3 Guys Grilling, Freight Coffee, and waffles!
Bob's Red Mill will be serving up free oatmeal, Red Bull will be on-site to help keep you energized both days, and Essentia Water on Sunday to help you hydrate.
