I believe I've got the model right. Non-cutout, manganese-rail, carbon shell. I gambled and lost; I picked this saddle while building up a new bike after a quick glance around the bikes in the shop, thinking it was not too far off in shape from the (discontinued) WTB Valcon I've been reasonably happy with.

Suffice it to say this is not my saddle. I rode it 3 miles to work, for a 14 mile ride after work, unable to appreciate my new bike through the horror that was my relationship with this saddle, and promptly found a couple of closeout Valcons on the Internetz...

$50? I gather these work for lots of people, and if that's you, this is a virtually new saddle at a hefty discount. Retail looks to be consistently north of $100. My cavalier saddle order is your gain.
