Wow, wow, wow. Our biggest race ever, we crushed our attendance record.
Couldn't have asked for better weather. After the past two Crusade
weekends, I think I speak for the racing crowd when I say it was nice to
have a race that wasn't a complete mud-pit and white water rapid course
(that being said Cascade Rocks was AWESOME).

Thank you to everyone who raced, hung out, and helped us with that Gigantic
keg of Scrilla. There was a lot of fast racing at Pat's Acres on Saturday.
I believe in hard courses where you can go full gas, and our little race
definitely delivered on that promise.

Speaking of promises, next year we promise the following: more portable
toilets (a lot more), a longer course, which hopefully bridges the pudding
river to the island (we have some ideas), more beer and cider, some neutral
support and the same great atmosphere as always with fun for the whole
family.

We couldn't have done it without the following people: Randy Word, the Hart
Family, Patrick Reedy & Dan Steinle, Pat's Acres Raceway, the CX Pistols.
Also, our sponsors provided us with a ton of great prizes to compliment
those podium medals. Thank you to Gigantic Brewing Co., Tuite Bicycle

Acres.

Between race start announcements, and other race-day duties, shooting this
was a lot different than when I can walk a course without constraint. In
either case, you'll get a good idea of what it looked like if you didn't
make it out (this year).

Thank you to each and every one of you who showed up to officiate, to race,
volunteer, support a family member, or to just watch and see what
cyclocross is about.
