So if a guy podiumed in cat 4 at State this season, he gets an automatic callup at Crusades next year.... But I haven't seen the category exclusion mentioned- if same guy were to cat up to 3 in Blind Date, would he not get a callup for 1st Crusade in the 3s?
I'm guessing the answer is much like it is during in-series upgrading: no, you get callups for the category you earned them, and don't if you upgrade.

Lame to lose your callup though. Has anyone ever considered giving callups to guys for their first race after upgrading? Seems like a legit use of callup to me
