I'd like to encourage all to be involved. If you or your team does not have someone that is attending the meeting then write down your votes for the Board and Rule changes and forward them to Kenji so that your opinions can count.
Our current board consists of
Glen Gann from Medford who has a road and tandem involvement
John Wilson from Corvallis who is all round but loves cyclocross and coordinates the junior ccx program.
Michelle Mercer from Bend who is also is an all-round rider
Meg Mautner who has medaled nationally in the track and been to the world championships multiple times. She also is the driving force behind the classes for new riders at the velodrome.
Steven Beardsley who is a national level rider in multiple disciplines.
Mike Murray who has been on the OBRA board since the ice age and does not choose to run again.
Both Mike and Michelle's positions are up for vote.
The 4 people running for the board are all of a high quality. My only slant would be that Mike has always been the 'rules' guy. Jordan Staples is one of our highest level officials and is very familiar with the rule book. It would be nice to keep that knowledge on the board.
