*I am endorsing Norrene Godfrey for the OBRA Board of Directors.*

When I was a junior, I was told that the best way I could improve my racing
was to watch other racers, pick my favorites, find out what makes them
successful on the bike, and then do that.

One of my favorites to watch was Norrene.

She was the most patient, heads-up rider, but when she decided to make her
attack it was 110%. it didn't matter what race it was - Mt. Tabor, the OBRA
Champs crit, or at Alpenrose. To see her wait for her moment and get her
best result was really fun to watch.

I think that's what I am watching here, but now, 20 years later, I get to
cheer on my friend and our common vision of what we need from OBRA.

Norrene is going to bring years of experience from being a racer, being a
team director, and being a fundraiser.

Norrene has been involved in the highest echelons of our sport, working
with athletes, teams, and sponsors from around the globe play bikes here in
Oregon.

Norrene is a voice for the racer and for the future of our sport in Oregon.
