Hey OBRA, did you see Catherine Cooper's note? OBRA-WSBA Letter to Racers.

Simply put, you do NOT need a USAC license to race the below early season races in WA. Let me repeat; you do NOT need a USAC license, your OBRA license will work.
WSBA is helping us out, check the note out below and give a HUGE shout out to Gina Kavesh and WSBA by allowing us to get some early racing under out belts, BEFORE we all show up at PIR in April.

To OBRA Members:

With the challenges created by the winter storms for early season road racing, OBRA, USAC, and the WSBA have jointly crafted a short-term solution to allow all OBRA riders and WSBA riders a more cost
effective way to race in both OBRA and WSBA early season road events.

USAC $10.00 one-day memberships will be available on site at all February and March WSBA events for all OBRA members regardless of their OBRA category . This $10.00 one-day membership is a per event requirement. After showing your OBRA membership card and completing a USAC oneday membership purchase on site, you will be able to race in your appropriate USAC reciprocal category.

Due to the short-term nature of this offer, the OBRA rider without a USAC affiliation will only be able to register on site, day of the event.

The following WSBA/USAC events are covered by this offer

Intro to Womens Racing & Cycle U Beginner race program February 25
 Ridge Circuit Race/TT February 26
 Ice Breaker TT March 4
 Sequim March 11
 Sequim March 18
Independence Valley Road Race (IVRR) March 25

OBRA will be waiving one-day membership fees, normally $5 for WSBA members for the Piece of Cake Road Race March 19.

We look forward to welcoming OBRA riders to WSBA events and vice versa. Be sure to bring your OBRA membership card (not your jersey numbers) so promoters can confirm your reciprocal race category and to allow a few extra minutes at race registration to complete the one-day membership form.

Please take a moment to welcome any WSBA rider who is next to you at the start line.

To WSBA Members:

The snow and ice storms wrecked havoc on Portland-area roads and thus with OBRAs early road season. This has resulted in a shortage of early season racing opportunities for OBRA riders. Due to these
circumstances, the WSBA, USAC, and OBRA created a short-term solution which will allow all OBRA and WSBA riders to race in each others' events in their OBRA/USAC reciprocal category on a per-event,
affordable, one-day license opportunity.

OBRA will be waiving one-day membership fees, normally $5 for WSBA members for the Piece of Cake Road Race March 19.

Once you arrive at the race site, fill out a one day event membership form. Show your WSBA/USA Cycling card and your one day event membership fee will be waived.

The following WSBA/USAC events are covered by this offer:

Intro to Womens Racing & Cycle U Beginner race program February 25
 Ice Breaker TT March 4
 Sequim March 11
 Sequim March 18
Independence Valley Road Race (IVRR) March 25

This will give WSBA members more opportunities to race against more
racers in our early season events in all categories. Please take a
moment to welcome any OBRA rider who is next to you at the start line.
