House share in CoCo?

Not sure why this never occurred to me before... but it did finally just occur to check in here in obraland and see if anyone is interested in going in on a house in some of the best riding country in the state...??

Scappoose and Saint Helens area is crazy good riding - some of the best/hardness climbs around, miles and miles of light-traffic PAVED country roads in valleys and rolling hills.. cheap rent/great value, and a very smooth commute into Portland if you gotta do that.

Rent anywhere for anything remotely decent is minimum $1000, for a shitty little apartment that doesn't even start to meet my space and location needs... but for less than half double that, a couple dudes could rent a NICE and BIG place up here in my hood and have all the space we need! Plus have outstanding riding right out our front door.

I haven't even really looked around much, but I know for instance there's a 3 bedroom 3 car garage remodeled craftsman house for rent on Knob Hill in downtown Saint Helens for $1800... dope place, dope spot, totally affordable. Plenty of space. Cool landlord.

But there's stuff in scappoose too .. and other pockets around here.

Me: 35 yo male, construction contractor of 10 years, busy life, in the middle of a divorce, need a new foreseeable permanent home.

I don't have much in the way of expectations for you, as I've never had a roommate that I wasn't married to - but probably preferred .. working professional, low key lifestyle. Don't care about gender, orientation, race, religion, diet, or political leanings. It'd be rad if we become homies and rode/trained together and kicked it and stuff, but that type relationship is in no way essential for me for this.

Money commitment would be in the neighborhood of $700-1100 ea, depending on what we wanted to look at. We'd go in on the place, though - find it, agree on it, co-lease.. so it'd be a true house-share situation, not a room in MY house type deal.

Who's interested?
