Good Morning OBRA,
Well here we are, 2 weeks went by quick, the 2nd Hammer Velo Crit is this
Saturday, please note the time changes and a few Cat changes in the
schedule...

Just wanted to say thanks for coming out last race and the continued support
of our race all these years, we have been blessed by the cycling gods every
year with great weather, no rain, this Saturday looks perfect.,.75 and
sunny...there is plenty of options to race for all, 2 maybe 3 times for
some...
We well have the Famous HV Sledge Hammers for the winners of all races, and
plenty of great primes, from Breakside, Brewery, River City Bikes, Panache
Cycling Gear, Giant Bikes, Nutcase helmets, Coffee, Wine, GC's for car
details, massage etc etc...Always plenty of hot spot laps at our Crits to
keep the racing fast and fun..
And thank you to all our team sponsors for all these years, Portland PACE,
Breakside Brewery, Solid Core Training, River City Bikes, Hammer Nutrition,
Water Ave. Coffee..Having all these businesses support us every year is what
allows us to put on these races, and in turn we use a good share of the
money from our races to help fund our Pay It Forward Xmas Ride and event
for Doernbecher's Children's Hospital each December...We also well be
collecting items for P;EAR again this week...So again things they really
need are bike tools, oils and grease etc for the bike mechanics school they
put on, Egg Beater pedals, mtn. bike shoes, helmets etc..But if you have
other things please bring as well.. There will be an area by Registration
you can drop them off...
Remember, check and cash only at the race, you can pre-reg on the OBRA
site...
Last but not least, just want to say a quick reminder on the race venue, we
spend a lot of extra time to clean the streets for the races so you have a
safe and nice venue to race at, so please pick up garbage when you
leave...The Fed Ex parking lot on the north side of the course in turn 1 is
open again to use for race parking, please be nice to the landscaping : )
