I'm moving to the desert NEXT WEEK where cross just ain't the same, and am looking to part with my trusty CX steed before I go. I'm the original owner of this Focus Mares AX Disc 105. It's stock with a few noted upgrades. It comes with the stock Focus wheelset (great for training or spares for racing), as well as a set of race tubulars (pictured installed on bike). It'd make a great setup for a green-crosser looking to have a race steed with a spare set of training wheels, or for a veteran looking for spare race setup. Full disclosure I've not done my end-of year overhaul on the bike after last year's cross season - it needs some major love (see note below)! That, and my need to sell it quick before moving are why I'm pricing it to mooooove.

SPECS:
Frame: Focus Mares AX Disc (2016 I think)
Groupset: 105 shifters, front derailleur, and cassette (basically new); Ultegra crankset and rear derailleur (upgrades); TRP HYRD hydraulic brakes
Parts: PRO handlebar (upgrade); Concept (Focus in house brand) stem and seatpost; Shimano SPD pedals
Training Wheelset: Concepts hubs laced to DT SWISS tubeless ready rims - decent set of tread on tires
Racing Wheelset: Velocity Major Tom tubular rims laced to Aivee cross hubset (French brand - look into them they're great!), with Challenge Griffo rear tire, Challenge Fango front tire, and another worn spare Griffo free.

THE GOOD: A trusty ride at a great price -PRICED TO MOVE!- Both sets of wheels are rolling true and bearings running smooth. Besides cosmetic wear the frame is in great shape, and the bike is shifting well. After being tuned up I'm sure you'll LOVE this bike! One of the most fun I've ever ridden - on or off-road!!
THE BAD: It needs some love. The bottom bracket bearings are dead, the chain is stretched, brake pads are worn, and cables and housing have seen better days. All parts will need replacement to get it up to tip-top shape. But hey, that's why it's such a good deal!

Asking $1050. Call, text, or email if you're interested. 520.405.3182 It's definitely worth a few hundred more $$, but I've knocked down the price to compensate for the work that needs to be done.
