survey what's gone and what's left from the Eagle Creek fire, check out the
house, enjoy one of Hood River's great restaurants/breweries/wine tasting
rooms/cideries (or more than one!), and head back on I-84 (open
westbound). It's about an hour from Hood River to most places in PDX.
