We lost 30 Puxing PX-777 radios ($50 a piece) in 2 pelican races along
with the wireless mic system (plus what Mike wrote)

Our losses so far amount to $4,000. We still need to conclude an
inventory check but the thieves knew exactly what to take. They used a
plasma torch to cut our lockbox.

I along with Mike are concerned that this was done by someone in our
community.

We'll be watching craigslist and other sites.

A distressing aspect of this loss is that the nature of the thefts makes
it possible that it is someone associated with bike racing and OBRA who
was involved. I would request that everyone keep their eyes open for the
stolen items or let us know any information you might have about this.
