Pre-ride on my SS of Wooden Shoe Crusade made me think....my bike with gears would be a good choice with the long gravel stretches and even a short stint on pavement. I mentioned this being a “fast” course to one S. Beardsley. His first response was... “It will deteriorate.”
Steven. I bow to you. Should have ridden my SS and saved my der. hanger. In all my years of riding mud even worse than today....this was my first loss of that part...
I have hope for this earth with such vast knowledge in the youngsters out there.
Great course Crusade crew! I may have DNFd, but I was having a blast!!!
Why can’t summer last forever? Why can’t cross last forever? Because that is just not the rhythm of life. We have to enjoy it while it is present.
