During the winter I periodically check the bolts holding my rear axle on my KK Road Machine. It's amazing how they can work loose. Great way to mess up a frame.

Also... Have you increased your uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage to as much as you can get? It's cheap and it's not just car insurance. It's the coverage most likely to help if a person driving hits you or a household member while biking (or walking or driving).
