They rent high quality road bikes, do delivery and pickup at various places around France, and know their business.
Also, check out the Vercors area. Fantastic cycling with little traffic. Depending on when you're going, there's a great place to stay called Velo Vercors.

A two-week delay in customs would certainly throw a wrench in my plans. Can anyone offer their experience and recommendations to avoid such shipping and customs delays?
