As was written in the ancient papyrus scrolls by our cycling elders many
years ago...

"Thine Hammerfest shall commence on the 1st Tuesday post day of the saving
of the daylight." Therefore the ride starts on *Tuesday March 13th* and
departs promptly at 5:30PM from Ye Olde Sunnyside Sports Shoppe.

You may then ask when does the departure time change to 6pm? The next line
of the ancient text reads...

"We shall depart at 6PM thine 1st Tuesday henceforth after the day of
national tithing" or when taxes are due. Therefore the ride time switches
to *6PM on April 17th*.

*Friendly Reminders:*
-Safety needs to be paramount
-Please ride no more than 2 abreast heading out of town including coming
out of Shevlin Park (lots of cinder in the bike lane as of today)
-NEVER cross the center-line
-Be careful crossing the highways (regrouping after the crossing is
encouraged)
-If I seem to be dropping off the back, a carefully timed push is never
refused (but is often a waste of your time)
