Early -- 2005 or 2006 -- complete, seldom used CycleOps PowerTap wired system:
Velocity AeroHed clincher wheel, PowerTap hub, PowerTap computer, wiring harnesses for two bikes, Shimano 9/10/11 speed 24-spoke hub with 9-speed 12-27 Miche cassette,, serial-port to USB adapter for data download, instruction booklet, cadence sensor, hub cover removal tool
System works perfectly. Sure, it isn't wireless, but for a training bike, it is completely functional.
The only item missing is original PowerTap software CD, but it was very poor, even at the time. Other options are available, such as TrainingPeaks.com, which is far superior.
Hub came on a set of Zipp 404 tubular wheels, but I swapped it to the Velocity alloy rim for training purposes. Carbon tubular Zipps not best training wheels!
If you are looking to try training with power, this is a terrific starter system. $150 obo. Gary, firstname.lastname@example.org, Hood River.
