In 2017 there were 4 great OBRA hillclimb races: Larch Mountain, Mt. Hood, Mary's Peak, and Mt. Ashland.
This year due to various reasons there is only one hillclimb on the calendar - Mt. Ashland. If you like hillclimb races make sure to go to Ashland this year. The Ashland HC has a road route and off-road route. Last year the best overall time at the Mt. Ashland HC was made by some 50 year old never been / has been off road racer. The best roadie over 2 minutes behind. Because I know there are at least a dozen road racers in Oregon that are faster the lame old off-road dude from last year I'll personally give $40 cash to the road racer this year that do two things: win the overall and beat the overall time from last year. -Jon Myers
