Keep an eye out here for teams announcing recruitment once the season is over.( the team I'm on will announce in mid-November) Like other people have said here and another thread, talk to other riders. The time you're waiting to line up is a great time to introduce yourself to a team rider and ask about new members.

Im with Team Oregon.. there many teams out there. Most will take down to cat 5. And some won't. Never hurts to ask some of the team members that are out there.
