Thanks to all of the people involved (promoters, sponsors, trail workers, volunteers etc.) who made this race happen. It was very well organized yet very laid back with good environment for all. The course was a treat. It was FAST and FUN, but provided plenty of challenge. It was great to be part of your 1st Stampede. Looking forward to next year.

Thanks to Joel and gang for putting on a great race. To have four races in the Central Oregon area is a great thing for Oregon Mountain biking. Having a race start in town and then have such sweet single track was special. Also thanks to all my friends who I get to see at these great events. I was called an Oregon Mountain biking legend as I finished today. I was tired, dusty and happy just like everyone else and wasn't feeling very legend like. However just to show my age when I was a boy there was a tv show called Have Gun will Travel starring Richard Boone as Paladin. The beginning of the show was shot outside of Sisters not far from where this race started. There is even a Paladin Way. It was cool to have a cowboy start the race.

Hello All,

Thank you for everybody who have pre-registered for the first annual Sisters Stampede!!

We have 120+ on the pre-registration list, and Saturday registration begins at 2:00pm at Eurosports in Sisters, ending at 5:00pm. Please make it for Saturday registration if you can (it would make our timing people happy).

The course is marked, and any Saturday pre-riding can be done from Three Creeks Brewing. Look for the huge tent, and follow the path near the potties to the starting area.

Sunday registration is open from 7:45am to 10:30am

The Stampede will be led out by a Cowboy on horseback for the Pro, Cat 1 Men. A wild ride it will be!

Safe Travels,

Joel Palanuk
