Thanks to all OBRA members who supported campaign for lease of North side. The goal has been met. Check Dabby’s note at

http://www.gofundme.com/ycf6xf4

about how to get more info regarding how this is going to work now that it is a lease. I am sure landowner has some rules! NWTA meeting next Tuesday at Velocult is where we can learn more. Keep in mind, you do not need to be a member to attend this meeting. But more membership gives NWTA a stronger voice for off road options.
Thanks Dabby and thanks all!!!!

Riders of the dirt/mud.
The landowner is clearcutting on the south side of the road and the first gate on left is posted with orange "NO PUBLIC ENTRY" signs. I could see, and hear the work taking place from the road today. The gate up above where people drop into skeetchute is "not" open and not "posted", but it makes sense that if you ride downhill from that point, you will be entering their work area. It also is probable that they will be cutting the area of trail that connects to the lower trail to Hwy 30 because they marked it for cutting last year. They are now doing that cutting. Seems like just riding the north side until they are done is the thing to do. NWTA is trying to get a good working relationship with the company and we riders doing what they ask really helps this process.
Take care out there.
