Hi Everyone,

Mike Ripley, Don Leet from Sunnyside and I have been working through the
process on this event and we cannot say that the event is 100% approved at
this time, but we can say that most of the pieces are in place and it looks
like it's going to happen and be approved based on earlier conversations but
we're waiting for final word from USAC. USAC wants us to put on a qualifier,
we just have to have them approve our proposal.

I have to be out of the office the rest of the day, so at this point, we
can't tell you that it's on for sure. If you are planning on going to
Wenatchee, keep those plans in the works for now. There is also another
qualifier in Napa, CA on June 4, so if you miss Wenatchee, you can go there
and ride someplace warm :)

I will let you know as soon as we hear back from USAC about approval.

My guess is that this has a 95% chance of happening. The interest from the
riders has been great, we'd expect about 30 - 50 people for the event based
on the response.

If it was to happen, we're thinking a 5 mile loop for juniors and 12 mile
loop for adults on the Pickett's course on Saturday, June 25 starting in the
late afternoon to give people plenty of time to arrive in town. Entry fee
would be under $30.
