Y'all might have noticed a crew sealing cracks on Sauvie. I talked today to Multnomah County Road Maintenance Manager Bill Whitson who tells me they're doing a two-step chip seal, with the top layer of 1/4 inch rock and fog coat to be done in August.

Based on my conversation I'm hopeful the result will fix the groove on the east side riding clockwise, and be reasonably smooth.
