I've ridden a lot out there. Hood River and The Dalles have some great road riding. Lots of hills, low traffic volumes, great scenery. The wind can pose a challenge in the afternoon. Check out Mosier, too.

I work remotely and can live in the commutable vicinity of Portland, thinking about Hood River.
Right I'm on the edge of the West Hills so I've got it good. How's the daily "ride from your door" road scene out there?
