I am selling my mountain bike. It is currently set up as a commuter bike with skinny slick tires, full fenders, a rear rack, and a rigid fork. But you could easily turn it back into a short track killer just by changing the tires and pulling off the fenders and rack.
Bike is in excellent condition. I never really rode it that much, so it never got abused. It is an older model (can't remember exactly when I bought it) but it still has a lot of life left in it.
Here are the important details:Rocky Mountain Hammer Race (made in Canada)Size: Medium (I'm 5'11" - frame has sloping top tube, so could fit a wide range of sizes)Frame: Reynolds 525 steelFork: IRD rigid fork - suspension corrected so angles are correctComponents: Mostly Shimano LX with XT rear derailleur and SRAM V-brakesWheels: Mavic rims, DT-Swiss spokes, LX hubsTires: Schwalbe Marathon Plus 26x1.35 commuting tiresPedals: currently has SPD commuter pedals (clip-in one side, flat on other)Accessories: Planet Bike fenders, Axiom rear rack, Banjo Brothers pannier (just one)
I'd like to sell this pretty quickly so I don't have to move it. I have some poor quality cell phone pictures if you want to see what it looks like. Make me a good offer and we'll see if it works.
Bike is in Portland. No, I won't ship, unless you pay for it.
Let me know if you have any questions.Dave Roth
