thanks guys. got some solid advice i think. seems 50 gets the biggest votes with a couple 49's and 51's to round it off. now the fun part.....explaining why spending thousands upon thousands of dollars on a bike is perfectly reasonable
so i have a lady friend that's looking into buying a used cross or road bike for commuting. not wanting to go waste a shop guy's time by having him "size" her then go out looking on her own, i'm asking any women cyclists out there what would be a general size for someone about 5'5". thanks
