Gentlemen,
This guy is the designated guy for the local paper. It's his turn to appeal
to the rest of the paper reading morons that have no concept of sporting
endeavor or experience with the same. Usually, they are writers that have
nothing else to write about as their deadlines come fast and furious, so
they write stupid little stories that rely on their stupid, inexperienced
perspectives. Look at this guy. He's a couch potato.
He's already made an ass of himself with his analogies and this weak little
diatribe.
Forgetttaboutit. He can't even carry Anika Soroenstam's jock strap, this
guy.

Think over this for a moment or two before reacting. This has become pretty
much an annual event with some journalist running up this particular flag.
The goal of the writer is to generate some controversy and attention,
whether that's positive or negative... Please don't give him what he's
looking for.
Yes, it's frustrating that the only coverage our sport seems to get here
involves death, drugs, or "dissin Le Tour" but we can refuse to support this
kind of negativity.
