FW: stolen bikes

Good point but in this case, that's not how he was targeted as Jon isn't on the obra list. Suspicious none the less as someone knew what he had. I wonder about Facebook though

Seattle would also make a good place to off bikes stolen from Vancouver...

Every revolutionary idea seems to evoke three stages of reaction...
One, it's completely impossible.
Two, it's possible, but it's not worth doing.
Three, I said it was a good idea all along.

Vancouver is where it happened so anywhere around the area they could turn up and maybe even as far away as Bend. Sounds like someone knew what they were doing in a sick sort of way

Hey guys,

I'm spreading the word. My garage was broken into and they stole 5 of my
best bikes. My Pinarello Dogma, my new Specialized SL3, my Quintana Roo TT
bike and my Trek Fuel 70 mt bike. Photos are below. The Dogma is very
unique. If anyone can post this to OBRA chat, I'd appreciate it immensely. I
am pretty devastated.

Hi Candy,

We're Paul & Renee; we've just moved here from NC and last night had two

bikes stolen off our car rack. We mentioned it to someone who suggested we

post it with OBRA. We're staying with friends in the NE- Simpson Ct. & 42nd

and had our car pulled in deep off the road with a house close to each side.

The thieves took off the two outside bikes of the Yakima bike rack ripping

one track completely off with bike attached. One was a TREK 5200 0clv road

bike "smoke" colored 52cm 2002 model serial number WL1681229. The second

was a KLEIN adept pro mountain bike full suspension with irredescent purple

color. We don't have the serial number on the KLEIN.

The thieves were wearing gloves and came between midnight and 7 am.   If you

could post this to put your members on alert and for the slight chance that

one of your members might notice these bikes out and about, I would

appreciate it. Our cell is 503-320-9139 and email is rp-@mindspring.com.
