Corrected version (sorry)
Here are a couple of choices. I actually prefer the second more "complicated" one:
Take Cornell over the hill and down through the two tunnels. It will eventually turn into Lovejoy. Take Lovejoy all the way to the Broadway Bridge (be careful of the Trolley tracks on Lovejoy). Cross the Broadway bridge (on the LEFT side - it's under construction on the RIGHT side) and turn left onto Interstate. Take Interstate all the way to Denver and Denver on to PIR.

Cross the Broadway bridge, stay on the far LEFT (NORTH) side of the street for a few blocks (bikes detour onto the sidewalk to avoid oncoming bikes and car traffic) and turn left onto Flint. Turn right onto Russell. Turn left onto Williams and take that a couple of miles to Ainsworth. Turn left onto Ainsworth, then right onto Vancouver for a couple of miles. Cross Columbia Blvd., turn left onto Schmeer and go past Portland Meadows, then right onto Whitaker. Go under the I-5 overpasses to Expo Rd and PIR.
