Hey all!

It is with tears in my eyes that I announce our departure from Portland and

the incredible phenomenon of OBRA racing. We have had an amazing time and

owe a large chunk of our fond Portland memories to the fabulous folks in the

OBRA community. We have greatly appreciated your friendship, support, and

all of the fun times we've had on the roads, trails and track! We drive out

the door on July 29th, bound for Raleigh, North Carolina where Jake will be

pursuing his PhD in Economics at NC State.

We won't be able to attend anymore races before we go, yet we can't imagine

leaving without

saying goodbye. So, pair that with the fact that we're guaranteed to be home

on the evening of Monday, July 28th shuffling boxes around...and you have an

instant social hour!

Feel free to drop by anytime after 7:30 or so and give us 10 reasons why

you're glad we're leaving. If you can't come up with said reasons, goodbye

hugs and handshakes are also welcome!

In all seriousness...we're so thankful that you all have shared part of your

lives with us. We will always look back on our Portland experience with

smiles on our faces.
