Now that the Challenge is over, the athletes are headed back home and Candi

and I have had a chance to get some sleep we are starting to think about

next year. I would like to thank all the people that helped us with putting

on the race. It would clearly be impossible to do with out that help.

We do, however, need more help if this event is to continue. The race has

developed a national reputation and I think it is important that it stays on

the calendar. I think it could easily get bigger in terms of publicity and

spectator draw.   But Candi and I can't continue to put out the amount of

time and effort that we have in the past. The best option would be to piece

out all the components of putting on the race into manageable size pieces so

that no one gets overwhelmed. Much of this stuff has been done before and

it is just a matter of having someone spend more time paying attention to

it. If you are interested in helping out let us know.
