We can all send these bozos letters telling them about how great cycling is,
and how stupid and close-minded they are for writing their silly columns
without knowing anything about cycling at all. I think it gets them off to get a
bunch of whiny letters from the people they probably meant to offend in the
first place.
But better than that, we can write to them and tell them that we have written
to their advertisers, and recommended that they stop advertising with people
who write such drivel. I dropped an email to both REI and Cycling Adventures
and encouraged them to stop advertising with the site that carries the "Betting
Fool." We all know the media responds to its advertisers more than it
responds to the public.
Hit them where it hurts.
