I will try and answer most asked questions.



1. ONLY XC results count towards the VW/Trek overall, but ALL results

count towards BAR.



2. Will there be a road crit Aug 1 because of the Portland crit...YES

there will be crits Aug 1 and 2

Plan is since this is a ROAD and MOUNTAIN Bike Fest....some mountain

bikers might want to try a crit, so I plan on 3 races

Cat 4-5 and Beg Mt Bike

Cat 3 and Sport

Cat 1-2, Open, Pro, Elite and Expert Mt Bike



CAMPING...you camp at High School all weekend for only $5...money goes

to school dist to help with budget problems



OVERALL/OPEN class for $500...there needs to be 20 racers for the $500

to be paid out($200 if less then 10 race)...we need about 15 more

racers...you can still sign up for the special $55 for all 4 events

price. I have faith we will get 20 + racers....remember if your racing

in Portland on Aug 1....you can still do the overall open class, but the

people that race in Oakridge on Aug 1 ...get a time bounce of 10 seconds

to 1 minute.



FOREST FIRES>>>>THERE IS NO FIRES IN OAKRIDGE...it is FINE up here



COURSES.....Crit is about 1/6 mile circle course

Time Trial is about 5 miles and runs the levy, Salmon Creek Trail out to

the bridge starting up the wall, but NOT the wall...mostly flat 99%

single and double track dirt



Cross Country Beg course is the same as last race...Sport course will

add a new single track trail...fun and tech in parts...Expert and up

will do the first lap the same as last race...minus finish lap in old

mill and then do the same upper lap that the Beg and Sport did...lots of

great single track.
