For Trade: I have a race ready hardtail mt. bike and I want a race ready

road bike.



1999 GT Zaskar LE size medium (18") Cosmic Sunrise color

Full XT plus XTR rear der. 9 speed

Mavic Crossride wheels

63mm SID and/or Marzocchi Atom 80

Cane Creek headset

XT level (UN72?) BB

Serfas Ti rail seat (very light)

Ritchey SPD pedals



The SID works okay but needs maintenance (new dust seals are mandatory and

new bushings would be nice). It is very light. The Zochs Atom 80 is a 2001

and is in excellent condition. It has been Marzocchi serviced less than 200

miles ago.



Bike was purchased in spring 2000 and ridden 1200 miles that year with 50%

on singletrack. Since then, I have put less than 600 miles (maybe 25%

trails) on the bike. The Zaskar LE was one of GT's top tier race bikes and

retailed in '99 for $2199. With the SID, I think the bike weighs in the

neighborhood of 24 lbs. There is a significant scratch on the top of the top

tube and a small ding on the non-drive side chain stay plus regular use

scuffs and minor scratches.

I am looking for a road bike in the 53/54 size (c-c) range. I like a top

tube plus stem length of about 66cm (i.e. 54cm tt plus 12cm stem). Anybody

want to make a deal?
