I am a 40 yr old cat4. I am intimidated by the Masters. However, I

would have definitely raced with them if I had known that some people

were turned away. I was somewhat anticipating a request from the

organizers for people to consider another category. If I survive this

year, I will race with the Masters next year.

what I found interesting was that there were 44 over 35's in the 3/4/5

with

a field of 111. There were only 25 riders total in the Masters 35+.

Maybe

if more chose to ride the Masters then we would not have turned away the

other cat 4's
