On this topic of corticosteroids, I've had several shoulder surgeries and

they both have been injected a number of times. I don't remember any "lift"

in my performance. I think most of the injections may have been prednisone

with a long term numbing agent. Could a doctor comment on why this is

banned and does it actually improve performance in some way? I was under

the impression it was the anabolic type of steroids that were not allowed.
