Friends and fellow athletes:
Something you might be interested in for yourself or for a gift for a friend or loved one: My sister, Amy, has started making commemorative quilts using event t-shirts. These go for aorund $600 in most magazines but she can do one for $400 (plus or minus, depends on size). I had a stack of t-shirts from events dating from 1982 that held great memories but I no longer wore and was ready to toss them. Instead, she made a beautiful handmade quilt with 16 of them. It is very cool and I would happy to be show it to anyone (possibly at an event) who might be interested. If interested, she can be contacted at:
