If you want to ride the track, you can go to Encino on Tuesday evenings

for a great training session under the lights. People show up starting

around 6pm. The contact person there is Steve Colman and his email is

For road ride/race consider the Rose Bowl event on Tuesday and Thursday

evenings begining in April when Daylight Saving Time starts. This is

their version of PIR. Race starts at 6pm on open to traffic streets in

the form of a three mile rectangle with no stop signs. Race is ten laps

and is non-santioned so it's one big group of 100+ riders from Cat 5 to

former Olympians and current Pros. Average speed is 29+ mph. It's quite

a neat race. There is no charge to ride this event.
