I'm looking at a Basso frame as the basis of a race bike. I can't find a
great deal of information about them.
Does anybody have any experience/comments/opinions of Basso bikes.
Wieght/stiffness/performance - the usual race bike stuff would be
appreciated.
Thanks in advance

2004 Race Across AMerica (RAAM) to air on NBC this Weekend:
The Insight Race Across America is pleased to announce a two-hour NBC Sports
airing of the 2004 edition on Saturday, January 22, 2005, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30
p.m. EST (check your listings for any local variations). Legendary sports
announcer Jim Lampley & his production company are responsible for getting
RAAM back on network TV for the
first time since 1986. Lampley was the announcer for the first five
transcontinental bike races from 1982-1986 which made two-time winner Lon
Haldeman a household name. Eric Heiden who helped announce one of those
broadcasts, will be
returning to RAAM this year on a 4 person Team.
Look for George Thomas and Terri Gooch, Co-Directors of Race Across Oregon
and The Built For Speed Time Trial Series who competed and won their
division this year's in RAAM, racing under the name Team
Velowear.com/Co-Motion.
Other interesting riders in 2004: Slovenian Jure Robic who managed an 8 day
9 hour crossing, sleeping less than 90 minutes a day. Or Team Grand Pac
Masters--a four man team whose average age was over 70! They decimated the
previously existing record finishing in an amazing 7 days 16 hours.
