Hmm, all I found was the movie _trailer_ at that site, not the whole movie, unless I'm just not seeing the right link. Worth a beer, definitely, but not the cranks...

I nominate John Wilson's Cyclocross movie. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is a

indeed a fantastic picture. And I think ET had kids on BMX bikes doing all

    kinds of RAD moves.

I am of the opinion that "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" is the greatest cycling

movie ever made. I know it's not about racing, or at all realistic. But a

movie that we find to be accurate wouldn't be appealing to the majority of

non-cyclists. Who cares if cyclists like a cycling movie. We already ride.

The reason I feel this is that it shows the passion that a person has for

a bike. Riding is seen as actually fun. It could motivate kids to start

riding more. And, it's funny (many cyclists take themselves way too

seriously). So, what does obra land think?

Iam really surprised to see that not one person so far has mentioned

"American Flyer". I was actually only talking to one of the guys who was an

extra in that movie (actually all the extras were olympic national teams for

the 84 Olympics in LA)on a training ride a couple of weeks ago. But have to

admit that " A SUNDAY IN HELL" IS THE ONE, YOUR LEGS ACHE JUST WATCHING IT.

<DIV></DIV>>I am of the opinion that "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" is the greatest

<DIV></DIV>>cycling movie ever made.  I know it's not about racing, or at all

<DIV></DIV>>realistic.  But a movie that we find to be accurate wouldn't be

<DIV></DIV>>appealing to the majority of non-cyclists.  Who cares if cyclists

<DIV></DIV>>like a cycling movie.  We already ride.  The reason I feel this is

<DIV></DIV>>that it shows the passion that a person has for a bike.  Riding is

<DIV></DIV>>seen as actually fun.  It could motivate kids to start riding more.

<DIV></DIV>>And, it's funny (many cyclists take themselves way too seriously).

<DIV></DIV>>So, what does obra land think?
