Thanks Ken!
That intersection is a part of my commute every morning.
As the visibility is so good I do roll through that stop
most of that time. I would not say that I am blowing through it but
I do not come to a complete stop. Most of the time I creep up
to the stop line almost slow enough to come to a trackstand.
The real danger is the people entering the road from your right on that
street parallel to Flint. Most of the time it is a big truck of some kind
coming from the City of Portland motorpool garage!
Thanks for the heads up!

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Warning: Police are ticketing at NE Broadway and
Flint.
The Portland Police are watching this intersection for
cyclists entering Broadway from the north and not
stopping at the stop sign. If you commute from NE you
might be familiar with it as it's a popular way onto
Broadway from NE Vancouver.
Anyway, I got pulled over this morning along with two
other cyclists. We recieved written warnings but the
officer told us that they are watching the
intersection closely. I think their main concern is
safety as Broadway is a pretty busy street. The
intersection has great sight distance though!
Anyway just a warning for any commuters from NE.
