There are some Oregon and Washington riders doing well at the Independence

Grad Prix this holiday weekend, resident OTC rider Jennie Reed won the

Keirin and the Scratch , guess the girls under estimated the sprint

specialists endurance, Obra's Miranda Duff and Heather VanValkenburg are

doing well (results listed below). Today's schedule is Women sprint 200

meter time trial (8 qualify) Men 1000 meter time trial, Women points race

heats, Men scratch race heats, Men keirin heats,Women's sprint round one (4

x 2 - 1st to semis;   2nd to 5 - 8 final), Men scratch race,Women sprint 5 -

8 final Men keirin semi-final ,Women sprint semi-final (one ride) ,Womens

point race ,Women sprint finals (one ride), Men keirin final ,Men madison.
