North to Pacific City, and take the Three Capes Scenic route up to Cape Lookout and back. You can eliminate some highway by taking the old road from Otis to Neskowin ( it's a great stretch of road). Another good ride is south through Taft, and then follow Schooner Creek east, ( a big climb, good road) eventually going past some popular falls and hiking trail, Fall Creek ?, and then you take Bear Creek road, (used to have a short gravel section) North out to hwy 18. Turn east to Rose Lodge, cross the Salmon River, and take the North Bank road down to Otis, then back to LC. Another ride to the south is through Taft, turn east and follow the Siletz river upstream as far as you want and turn around, or for a long day, go all the way to hwy 20, then to Newport, and back up 101. About 20 miles each way to Pacific City and Siletz.
Have a good trip,
Dave

I?ll be spending a few days in Lincoln City, OR. I would be much obliged to anyone who can provide 30-60 mile training routes in that area. I can work out the details if you can provide a sketch of the route with key roads/intersections.
Thanks in advance!
Jim Carlton
