Proposed Schedule for the 2006 Mt Tabor Series

6:15 4 laps Fixed Gear

6:17 5 laps Men 5, Juniors

I only made it to one Mt Tabor race this year, and it was a humbling

experience! I'm a strong Cat 5, but I was literally dropped before we

left the parking lot as I made the mistake of lining up at the back of

the (huge) field. The front of the 4-5 was around the first corner

before I even got to start!

 6:30 10 laps Women 1-2-3, 4, Masters 40+

7:00 8 laps Men Masters 40+

7:30 10 laps Men 3-4

7:45 15 laps Men 1-2-3

You have approximately 45 weeks to get fit.

Good, because I need it! :)

The Mt Tabor Series executive steering committee has

met and recommended a format change for 2006. The

proposed format features:

- Add Masters women

- Add Cat 5 category to break up 75+ in the 4/5 race

- Later start

- Earlier finish

- Longer womens races

- Longer Masters men race

- Adds Juniors

- Longer race for 4s

The following schedule is provisional only. But I

wanted to toss it out there to let you know that your

demand for longer and harder races has been heard!
