TITUS - HCR
When you're dead serious about going fast, nothing matches the feel =20
and speed of our Titanium Hard Core Racer. What makes this bike so =20
awesome? Each of the 5 frame sizes is optimized by tube diameter and =20
geometry to get the perfect ride for each rider size (No other =20
company does that). We incorporated newly designed convertible hooded =20=
dropouts to make sure the rear triangle is stiff yet responsive and =20
geared or single speed ready. The three largest sizes are even =20
designed for 100mm travel forks. What will we think of next? Maybe =20
next year it will come with a motor.
"The HCR is a quick handling bike but still stable enough to inspire =20
confidence when the going gets tough." "Its quick handling and flows =20
precisely through the single track like a surgeon's knife on duty."
MTB REVIEW
"The frame quality is without flaw and the welds are eye candy"

Other Commonly Asked Questions Regarding the Hard Core Racer
Q. How much does the Hard Core Racer weigh?
A. An extra small Hard Core Racer weighs 2.75 lbs., a medium Hard =20
Core Racer weighs 3.4 lbs. Hard Core Racer bikes have been built up =20
to weigh under 19 lbs using a selection of parts from our custom =20
group kit program.
Q. What=92s the deal with the convertible dropouts?
A. You can choose between either single speed or geared style =20
dropouts. Both are disc compatible and you can easily switch between =20=
one or the other with just a 4mm allen wrench. The frame comes with =20
one set)
Q. Is there a Hard Core Racer made to fit smaller female riders?
A. The two smallest sizes of the Hard Core Racer feature women =20
specific geometry. The xxs fits women from 4'10" to 5'1", while the =20
xs fits women from 5'2" to 5'5". Visit the Women's Fit article for =20
more women's specific information.
Q: Tell me more about the new 100mm travel HCR geometry!
A: The creation of Stable Platform and Inertia Valve technology in =20
front forks and the trend towards longer travel XC bikes has =20
convinced us to re-design the small, medium, and large size HCR frame =20=
geometry to properly accommodate 100mm travel forks. For smaller =20
riders, we don=92t venture into 100mm options on our smallest sizes =20
because it raises the front end of the bike too high for shorter riders.
Q. Who should buy this bike?
A. Any potential high-end hardtail rider under 200 lbs. looking for =20
the best ride and value for their money. Riders over 200lbs should =20
consider our FCR model frameset because of its customizable tube set =20
that allows us to tune the ride for any size or weight of rider. =20
There is no actual rider weight limit on the HCR, but each frame size =20=
features a tube set designed to ride best for an average rider size. =20=
For instance, 0n the smallest 2 sizes, the ride is tuned for riders =20
under 150 lbs, on the small: 140 to 180lbs, and the medium and large: =20=
165-200lbs.
Q. What do I need to know to build up my new Hard Core Racer?
A. All Hard Core Racer frames use a 27.2 seatpost, 1 1/4" (31.8mm) =20
top pull front derailleur, 1 1/8" headset with a 73mm bottom bracket =20
shell. The Hard Core Racer is designed for forks with 80mm travel. =20
Using our custom group kit program to order a complete HCR will =20
ensure proper parts compatibility
