I have no other outlet to express my deep sadness for a fallen racer. I, as many others who were in the race last night, will be profoundly effected by this tragedy. It is with utmost respect that I offer my sincere prays for his close friends and family. Please please let me know when a memorial donation sight is available.

I am still unable to coherently comment on last night's event. To all of us who knew Charles, this is unimagineable. I have been in contact with his wife and will let you all know when the memorial service has been scheduled.

I want to make a special effort to mention the many people who provided care last night. There were 3 doctors, 1 nurse and the entire 343 Racing team which is made up of fireman and EMTs on the scene within minutes if not seconds.

Better care could not have been provided. You all know who you are, you have my deepest thanks. The rest of you should make an effort to acknowledge 343 any time you are near them.

Dear OBRA land,

I recieved a phone call last night very late from my sister asking if I was alright, half awake I responed yes and asked why she called to ask that question. She then put the phone up to the television to let me here the small news story about the rider who died while riding at PIR Tuesday night. I did not have a lot to go on and was half awake when I heard it over the phone, but was shocked to hear the news. I would just like to say that it is a tragedy that things like this happen, but would like to say that my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. If anyone out there hears of a way where I can make a donation for him or his family please let me know.
