Hello everyone, unfortunately I couldn't get this message out on Friday due

to some downtime on the obra topica list...

Some of you folks saw us out at the velodrome, for the others I wanted to

pass on the last chance to register for our free coffee drawing which we'll

be holding in two days (Wednesday). All you need to do is click below and

enter your e-mail. www.familyroast.com/forms/contest.htm

The offer for getting free coffee for joining the BTA (read below) stands.

But I don't have anything set up online for that, so just call me at

503.887.3686. We'll get you set up and send one free lb of my family's

coffee your way.

Good Luck! And we'll see you out at other races,

Augusto

Mike/Candi, can you pass this on to OBRA? I seem to be having trouble

with

the list.

Jessica, can you pass this on to shift? (if it doesn't go through)

Please feel free to edit the text/subject if you would like. Thanks,

Augusto.

Cafe Nossa Familia (Our Family's Coffee) will be at the Alpenrose

Velodrome

Challenge brewing our gourmet sustainable coffees. Besides serving my

family's coffee we intended on doing a membership drive as well as raise

funds for the BTA. In light of the recent events with the death of a

fellow

cyclist we decided, together with the BTA and OBRA, that it would be

better

to donate the funds we raise this weekend to his family.

We will still be signing up new members to the BTA (Bicycle

Transportation

Alliance). The BTA is a GREAT organization. They help create more bike

lanes, better bike laws, safe routes to school for our kids, and much

more

behind the scenes advocacy work. If you ride even just a couple times a

week

odds are that you've benefited from their work. New members will receive

a

free coffee from us as well as free coffee to take home.

Cafe Nossa Familia will be donating $2 for every lb of coffee and

T-shirt we

sell, plus part of the proceeds for all the coffee drinks we serve to

Charles' family. Nossa Familia regularly donates $1/lb to local

charities on

our websales. If you cannot attend the AVC, please visit us online at

www.familyroast.com or call 503.887.3686. We have a drawing coming up

for a

bunch of FREE COFFEE, so be sure to sign up online

www.familyroast.com/forms/contest.htm or respond to this e-mail

(augu-@familyroast.com)

hope to see you at the Velodrome,

Augusto and Jason
