<Any advice for people interested in touring wine country?>

Yes, here's some great advice: Do not drink and ride - ever.

Wine tasting and cycling don't mix and is a good way to make it easy to get hit by a car. Of course cycling through Oregon wine country is a wonderful experience. One is better off cycling by the vineyards in the morning, then hiring a van to be driven around (by a designated non-drinking driver) to the wineries for tastings in the afternoon.

Hi-

I'm writing an article on bike touring in Oregon for a

yet-to-be-published adventure magazine and need four to five pictures

(if the publisher likes the article he says I can write about racing

next!). If anyone has a few good digital shots of vineyards, people

on their bikes in front of vineyards, wine-tasting in bike clothes,

etc. and wouldn't mind sharing, please email me at

Courtne-@gmail.com. All pictures would be credited and need to

be from Oregon ONLY.

I'm also looking for a few wine-touring bikers to answer the following

questions, if anyone is looking for a quick 2-minute work distraction.

What was your bike route?

How difficult was the route?

Why tour wine country by bike?

Any advice for people interested in touring wine country?

Anything else you'd like to add?

I am, of course, looking to write the article ASAP. Thanks in advance

for your help!

Cheers

Courtney
