Both the CSC and Prime Alliance professional cycling teams made

?breakage? reports (which resulted in high speed crashes) to Vision Tech

in winter/spring of 2003. We were assured that the problem was limited

to an initial batch of bars resulting from a production vendor switch as

part of the sale of the company to (FSA?), and that any bars remaining

with the team(s) were not from this specific limited batch (ie. our

other bars were safe to use without inspection). It appears that this

may not be the case now. I recommend anyone who may have received bars

from the Prime Alliance Cycling Team, Mercury Cycling Team, any other

team, or any athlete directly or indirectly (via one of the teams)

sponsored by Vision Tech in 2002 or later have their bars checked in

accordance with the recall.
